Genesis
Chapter 2

2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished and all the host of them. This is God's metaphor for saying that the plasma of creation had now cooled enough (~3000 degrees) so that the simplest

atoms, mostly all hydrogen, would be abundant enough, to soon start collapsing together to make the first stars and galaxies.
This is God putting the cart before the horse here, again. As he laboriously yet gloriously gets the timeline of creation wrong and wrong again, in his infinite wisdom. - but, it is true to say, God (the metaphor) had a cosmos with all the fundamental ingredients and physical laws required to build and host all of them. One billion years into creation (or six days by Gods count) and neither the heavens (space/time), nor the earth were anywhere near finished (by the cosmic calender).

2:2 and adam lived 130 years. God admits this is speculative work regarding the specific age or time of occurrencea. And the lord said, to himself, My spirits shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh, yet his days shall be 120 years.

On the seventh day God ended his work which he had made, and he rested on the seventh day. In the near billion year old cosmos it was busy. Space continued to cause the energy and matter to recede away from one-another as space expanded. However gravity pulled using the inverse square law the "dark matter", and the visible matter together as space/time evolved and filled up into itself. The three simplest atomic elements of nature, made before the first star, were almost entirely in the form of hydrogen. Hydrogen having one proton and one electron and being held together using Gods electromagnetic force, where protons with a positive charge were capturing the 2000 times' less massive, but negatively charged electrons to make hydrogen and the tiny amounts of helium and Gods mood stabilizer Lithium.

2:3 God blessed the seventh day, but nature was busy using Gods strong nuclear force to hold three quarks together inside the proton and neutral neutron which then attracted electrons all obeying quantum physics. Atomic nuclei felt the resistance, whilst moving through the higgs field and blessed gravity for bringing more and more hydrogen atoms together into ever growing clumps. The clumps were gravitating, over hundreds of millions of years, to larger clumps of dark matter which had assembled and the galaxies and stars were about to shine.

The Real Qur'an. Sura 2. The Cow!

SURA 2 - THE COW (mooo!)


Medina - 286 verses (Allah allowed me to condense this SURA)

"In the name of God the compassionate the merciful"

"Elif. Lam. Mim. No doubt is there about this Book: it is a guidance to the God-fearing."
- This verse mixes overt threats of divine punishment with an almost comical logical fallacy. The fallacy is lurking in the section where Allah essentially states 'it is true because it is true' - a tautology on top of a classic logical fallacy, called circular reasoning.
 Furthermore, and much more sinister, is Allahs implied threat of some punishment to the doubters, and the God fearers, Allah then states:
"As to the infidels, alike it is to them whether thou warn them or warn them not - they will not believe"
In the latter verse Allah is using his omnipotent powers to coerce credulous homo sapien primates into believing his absurd tautology of circular reasoning, backed by fear of punishment if rejected. The consequences for those who reject his assertion that the Qur'an is true because it says so in the Qur'an are not helped by Allah onto the "straight path"

The former verse demonstrates Allahs complete neglect and clear prejudice against infidels, by not using his omnipotence to save them, he is an accessory to crimes against humanity, including; torture, and conspiracy to kidnap infidels, and a further charge of holding infidels hostage in hell, this charge is still pending. Awaiting Allahs written confession of creating hell. Allegedly Allah wrote down his atrocities in latter SURAS that we will cover. In fact he elaborates on what he will do with the infidels in this SURA, the Holy Cow! Sura:

"For them, a severe chastisement"
If a severe chastisement seems not harsh enough, our merciful Lord further plans to burn them in a premeditated act of mass murder and torture, an act of violence that would embarrass Hitler or Stalin in its scope and duration of cruelty. The message of God via his messenger (me) is starting to come into focus, his hostility toward infidels is clear and as barbed as razor wire. Allah hu Akbar! This is what awaits you infidels and heretics:
"then fear the fire prepared for the infidels, whose fuel is men and stones"

All quotations. "xxxxx" .are the true word of the creator of everything from the first edition of the Qur'an, authored by Allah. Additional notations are for the discerning or confused atheist or theist who wants to know Gods perfect words, but have them explained using ad hoc notation.
All ad hoc notation is to convert new people to the glory of the path toward the one true God. All notes were found on gold plates in my back yard, lucky me. 
(other updated revelations, were given to me by the (arch)Angel Gabriel, during my epileptic seizures, which occurred during my silent reflection time in my modern cave/attic). I am the new and final prophet (Pbume) of the one true God (Pbuh). If you don't like the new version, hell doth await, and remember the idiom: don't blame or shoot the messenger. 

SURA 1 

MECCA - 7 Verses

"Praise be to Allah", - for he has billions of galaxies to play with but really insists, infact needs your praise too. So all muslims need only praise more, to show you are a true muslim - perhaps by praising the very fact that Allah made you not as an infidel or apostate. Allah values praise as he opens the best book ever written, the Qur'an, with the implied threat demanding praise, or as I am assured by Allah, it is more of a firm "suggestion" to praise, this may appear self-centred or (boom!) Deity-centric - this is a mistake. Allah earns our praise and he makes mistakes not, as Allah's new messenger I intent to prove why the Bible is corrupt and the Qur'an is better:

"He is Lord of the worlds" 
- Allah is Lord of not just one primate species on one world, called Earth. As the observant reader will notice "world" is in the plural form. Therefore there are more than one world, does this mean he rules Mars or Jupiter (ironically our Lord named the six planets after Roman, heretical, polytheistic Deities, rather than selfishly calling the planets; Allah 1-6* (*there were only 6 known planets in the first edition of the Holy Qur'an ~1300 years ago). Allah's former demand that he be praised as a Lord of worlds can be overlooked as he assures me God correctly had predicted multiple exo-planets in the first edition - for which we also must praise him. Showing his sense of humour he discovered most of these worlds of which he is now Lord of, using the Kepler Space Telescope - named after a Protestant Christian. Again showing his humble, magnanimous and jocular side. From now on the exo-worlds shall be named Allah 9-2000+ though, in order of their discovery by his slaves worshippers.

"The compassionate, the merciful."The hubristic, the sadistic, the polytheistic-God and infidel annihilator. Here God is being ironic or facetious he is all things at all times. If you end up in eternal fire, you have yourself to blame for not praising the:

"King on the day* of reckoning"- overlooking the overt threat of a day of judgment, a minor issue concerning time - (Earth time I assume is implied, on the King's behalf, as Allah seems to have fallen for the false, yet intuitive, and thus understandable erroneous idea that there exists a cosmic or absolute time, also known as Newtonian time, where all clocks tick the same everywhere. Seeing as in the above verse he clearly states he is "Lord of worlds", plural. Therefore we face a contradiction, or Allah tricked us by not revealing the true counter-intuitive Einsteinian relativistic time in the first edition, relativistic time is where "the day" is subjective to the "King" and his favourite apes location, planet or moon etc, and their distance from the effects of gravitation fields speeding or dilating time for an observer, and I take the liberty to assume he uses the Islamic calender, defining a day as how long the Earth takes in (arbitrary) human units to rotate once on its axis, Allah must therefore live somewhere on Earth or a planet with similar mass, spin, axis tilt and sun/planet relationship. The compassionate Allah asks that:

"Thee only do we worship, and to thee do we cry for help".- God again stresses the importance of knowing your lowly place, as a slave or serf, which naturally would make one cry for help from his sadistic, Dear Leader style demand for endless praise and worship, while demanding he be called merciful simultaneously. The slave owner and slave have a love and dependency partnership, God has established a sado-masochistic motif early in his Holy Qur'an

"Guide Thou us on the straight path".
-Allah is Reasonable, but here God seems to make us all slaves by implying his omnipotence and ability to alter human free will, unless the primate in question is walking on the vague yet perfectly straight path. (paved roads were not exactly ubiquitous when Allah penned his verbatim perfect first edition, implying "Hamlet" or "The Karamazov Brothers" and other books are superfluous. God cannot change his original words sent 'down' to the prophet muhammad, so he uses me, to make 21st century adjustments, ad hoc notations so our Holy Qur'an can be shown as true, whilst solving all existential questions for his favourite hominid, on his tenth favourite world (in his favourite Galaxy).

"The path of those to whom Thou hast been gracious" thats us! Herd us, oh mighty Yahweh 3.0
"with whom thou art not angry, and who go not astray."

A Matter of Life and Death. Part Two.

"We are going to die, and that makes us the lucky ones, as most people are never going to be born"

Our species, uniquely, some may say inconveniently, is all too aware of its own mortality. Thus it appears we, largely in response to this recognition, the realization and sobering fact, that we all will die, and death almost certainly appears to be permanent in prognosis - furthermore, perhaps worse, we have no sure guarantee, no assured idea of how or when we will die, until 'it' occurs of course - ironically absurd is the existential fact which, to me is somewhat less dreary, and is to be found in the observation that we won't know when we die, as we will be too dead to notice, so fear of dying is all hype, not a real problem to be anxious over. "Don't believe the hype", is hype after all, except in this case ;).

Considering this, it is not too surprising to observe that our species has invented a few psychological tricks to navigate around this alleged "problem" of dying. As opposed to the natural and more honest acceptance of the indifferent truth - the truth being that death actually means you stop to exist, you cease to be, fear of becoming nothing is a phobia. If nothing happens after brain death, then there literally is nothing to fret over. So always look on the bright side of this life, as in death you won't get a chance.

Sadly almost all of our species denies the rather blunt fact of death and in arrogant credulity, or unfortunate upbringing, is swayed into believing that there really is a life after death - promised by cults since humans evolved, they usually promise the same thing: by denying the obvious and attempting to avoid your own death, you can relegate mortality to a mere illusion, or more dangerously, something to gleefully look forward to, in a necrophiliac-martyr-lunatic kind of manner. Believing in afterlives also entails another implication, it seems to make ones actual life a pointless, or at least a somewhat denigrated prelude, to just another "more important", if completely unjustified and imaginary "after" life.

The Real Bible: Genesis Ch.1 v1-7

The Real Bible
The Old Cosmos.
Genesis 1
Chapter 1
Verse 1-7

*1:0 Cosmogony, or the study of the origin of the universe and how it came to be? The answer is simple, we don't know!, yet - but we have some ideas.The bottom line is that nobody knows, except Yahweh as he already existed in Genesis 1:1. Maybe the cosmos is infinitely finite, maybe multiverses make bubble universes, maybe clues are in M-theory, or from studying the quantum vacuum or gravity waves etc - again, nobody knows how it all started - full stop. However, God (the metaphor and) the anti-hero of this Genesis book was already around before he began creation, so ask "God" and hope he is real (and not just a metaphorical plot device, like he is in this updated more scientifically accurate Bible).

Genesis 1  

1:1 In the beginning nature created the cosmos, somehow. And the heavens were a celestial metaphor for God, And the Earth was without form, and void, (correct!). God knew the Earth was without form because all the 94 natural atoms that had to be forged were stuck in a tiny, hot, dense plasma. This plasma did exist and would cool enough, one day, to make the Earth, and darkness was upon the fabric of space-time and on the face of the deep.

1:2 The cosmos was smaller than an atom and God (still a metaphor) said "Let there be Light!". He was wrong, as the Big Bang, creation itself was more like darkness upon the face of the deep/space-time. Light can only be emitted when a plasma cools enough to make atomic nuclei, which can then emit photons or Light (sticking with Gods nomenclature) when electrons "jump orbits" and lose energy as a photon of light. Either way, God "saw" the dark plasma and it was good, but not as good as light, so he saved his slogan for later, under the advice of nature.

1:3 God called the light day, and the darkness he called Night. This was the first day, as God used the calender we use, not Planck times, or exponents, or the first minutes of the BB (using earth time) but a day and night. God still tried to make water before oxygen had formed though (even hydrogen was not there), so he could not divide the waters which he needed to do, in order to make a divide 'under' and 'above' separating his firmament.Which he called heaven, nature called it the night sky from Earth ~10 billion years from now.

1:4 Space-time was near infinite in energy, temperature and density.And the spirit of nature split the proposed super force into the four forces we know today, Gravity curved space itself, determining geometry, the silent, dark plasma of the Big Bang occurred 13.7 billion years ago. The other forces Electromagnetism (EMG) and the two nuclear forces would be important soon enough. This event called the BB created all the matter and energy we see today.

1:5 Before the spirit of nature AKA God could move upon the face of the water, the baby cosmos, space and the plasma of charged particles were extremely energetic. The cosmos itself appeared everywhere, the BB happened at a time, but happened at every single point in space, the universe was everywhere without a centre or centred at every point in space - all at once. Quantum fluctuations in this early or Gods "first day" (figuratively speaking) would become the galaxies we see today. Antimatter annihilated with matter to make pure energy, there were slightly more matter particles than its anti-matter counter part and we are made of those unexplained extra bits.

1:6 God saw the cosmos but could not visualize it, like me, as the cosmos was everywhere but had nowhere as it's centre and was expanding into space/time itself, God called the firmament, heaven, on the second day, despite cosmology having no idea where heaven fits into the promising theoretical inflationary model. So nature gave God a break and let him learn from the cosmos.

1:7 The firmament being a simpler concept to imagine than the first few moments of the cosmos, which we are still working on and are closing in on it's origins, assuming it is not beyond our human imaginations. So God (still non-literal) waited on the face of the waters, (water molecules being impossible due to physical law needing hydrogen and oxygen to make water). All the same God was eager to make water, in order to separate the firmament, but had neither hydrogen nor oxygen, he was not a chemist but an author/deity, so his mistake can be understood.

A Matter of Life and Death. Part One

Is it rational to be afraid of death? For me, a materialist atheist, who expects "nothing" to occur after death - and I mean literally nothing - as in the absence of something, I see no reason to be apprehensive or fearful of the inevitable moment when I, like all those millions before me, "shuffle off this mortal coil" into nonexistence, most probably. I further expect, given the empirical and skeptical examination I have applied to nature revealed by science, that the afterlife is an illusion and a potentially sinister one at that. Nevertheless, the same skeptic, the socratic doubter in me, which cannot ever prove or rule out the possibility of afterlives, however absurd they seem when examined, I accept that there is always a chance that in death, "what dreams may come"...


It seems safe to affirm that our superstition riddled societies, of past and present, are partly to blame. One must also take into account the fact that we have barely emerged from those hundreds of thousands of credulous years, during which the faithful homo sapien species was dying with uncritical certainty that life after death is as real as life lived on Earth (be it a flat or spherical Earth, geo-or-helio centred...).

"Magic" Mushrooms?

The magic in the mind and the magic in the mushroom.

"Psilocin" is not a commonly heard word. I suspect that an even smaller fraction of people reading this will have any idea what "4-Hydroxy-Dimethyltryptamine" is either. The latter and the former quoted words are, in fact, the same chemical molecule just expressed in different ways. They are both identical and are the psychoactive ingredient of "magic" mushrooms or 'shrooms. I bet most people have the word 'magic mushrooms' stored in their vocabulary, this is not the same as psilocin or 4-HO-DMT, as it entails an edible mushroom on top of a non-toxic, powerfully transforming, psychedelic molecule.

So what's all the magic about? after all magic isn't real - real, that is, in the sense of magic violating physical law. It would appear and I would argue that the psilocin in magic mushrooms causes one of the most "miraculous" experiences one can have - if given the correct dose in the right setting etc. Words are lousy for describing such deeply significant experiences, perhaps this is why we call them "magic" - as calling them "magic" explains nothing about the drug, or how it works, but leaves us with a mystery to never solve. So using the word "magic", as an imprecise adjective to describe psilocim, is similar to using God and other sloppily vague words to describe what we think, We often use the word "magic" to describe profound experiences or concepts that we perceive as too good to be "real". All too eagerly we invoke the mystical, when in fact an understanding of serotonin explains a great deal of the magic...

Why psilocin has subjectively so profound an effect on consciousness, is almost certainly due to its pharmacology. There is nothing magical about "magic mushrooms" in terms of how they produce their medicinal and psychoative effects, it appears to be an accident of organic chemistry - both in mushrooms and in our brains. The serendipity between our peronality modulating neurotransmitter serotonin and the active chemical in mushrooms is no less marvelous when understood, as I hope to illustrate - in fact it is perhaps more intriguing.

A quick look at a single molecule of 4-Hydroxy DMT (Psilocin) contrasted next to a neurotransmitter molecule of 5-Hydroxy Tryptamine (Serotonin), shows much of what I intend to say about it's pharmacology and why it is so unique a psychoactive drug. Nothing gets this close to resembling Serotonin! Natures closest analogue to serotonin is Psilocin. The "magic" found in psychedelic mushroom's is due to our shared chemical makeup, psilcin and serotonin are astonishingly similiar.
